We are officially recognized by the Catholic Church as an Association of the Faithful.
Our common bond is our deep faith,
through which we discover the presence of God. In the joys and sorrows of our everyday lives,
we live out the dying and rising of Jesus. Christ is the center of our lives.
Members may be single or married, men or women. Single members are free to commit to vows of poverty, celibacy and obedience. Single or married persons are invited to be associates. Married associates continue to honor their primary commitment to family.
We are not dependent on the community
for our livelihood. Each member is responsible
for seeking employment that will minister to the needs of the church and the world. We provide for our own material needs. We secure our own living arrangements
and personal property. We all pay taxes.
With foresight and balanced discipline, we save for retirement.
Social consciousness directs our attitudes, decisions and actions. As individuals and as a community, we share with those in need.
Each year we contribute financial and material goods to relevant causes. We share with relatives, friends and community members when needs are made known.
Providing for recreation and play keeps us healthy and fosters balance. We express our care for the earth by our simple lifestyle and conservation of natural resources.
